I understand that engaging with research related to sexual violence may be uncomfortable and overwhelming. Working together with the lived experience reference group, we have compiled a list of survivor-centric support resources that may help you during and after participating in this study.

Sunny

Sunny is 1800RESPECT’s app for women with disability who have experienced violence and abuse. Sunny has been co-designed with women with disability to ensure it provides the very best support for those who use it.

Daisy

Daisy is an app by 1800RESPECT to connect women to support nearby them. The Daisy app can link to service phone numbers and websites, which you can access from within the app so they don’t show in browser history. There is also information on what to expect when contacting a service.

Girls Gotta Know

A website for young women that has general legal information on legal and options in areas like relationships, housing and renting, and employment.

Emergency+

The Emergency+ app is a free app developed by Australia’s emergency services and their Government industry partners.

CBT Thought Diary

This app is a space to reflect on your positive and negative thoughts. Record your mood, reflect on your emotions, practice gratitude, and analyze your thoughts using techniques from CBT, DBT and positive psychology.
